Just got mine back from having the update, I didn’t get warning lights and stuff that often so will have to wait and see on that front

Remote climate from the app is working, the app still says I need an update and the data pack thing still says I’m not the key user

My CarPlay was working when I got it, the car then asked to download something and since then my CarPlay is not working at all, tried resetting the phone, reboot mmi, repairing, etc and nothing

Have give up and will let the car have a deep sleep and see tomorrow, if not it can go back to the dealer!

I had the same issue, I know this may sound odd…

connect the phone to the car, and try using the passenger display to set up carplay. It has a connection issue when trying to connect on the centre MMI but when I went to connections on the passenger display, then rather than CarPlay icon touched the cog/settings and selected CarPlay it connected and stayed connected.

As always with CARIAD depends which way the wind blows to what works unfortunately.

Unfortunately I don’t have a passenger display. I tried the setting cog and tabbing on the CarPlay icon but get the same result though.

Hopefully it sorts its s**t out after a long sleep overnight!

Still no CarPlay this morning drove to work and was just about to call Audi when I thought I’ll try turning off the car hotspot and see what happens and miraculously it’s working again, so this is what worked for me if anyone else experiences this:

1. Turn off vehicle hotspot
2. Go to connections and on your iPhone click the settings cog/gear icon
3. Flick the CarPlay one to on
4. A pop up comes up about the car needs to switch it’s hotspot on for this, press OK
5. CarPlay connected instantly!

Is your car already on 03.01.00 /c and just on a new campaign 06XL?

You can’t change what will happen good or bad, so I would try not to worry too much about it.

You can still have a recall or campaign against the software 03.01.
However if they have only just done the update it can take 72 hours for it to be removed off the app.

If it is still showing next week speak to your dealer.

The plot thickens with this, after working all fine doing the 5 points outlined above from my car park at work, I got the car home and as I reversed into my driveway CarPlay died again. However I spotted this was at the same time my car connected to my home WiFi network. I disconnected the car from the home network and it repeated the previous issue of failing the connection to CarPlay until I repeated the above 5 steps.

CarPlay worked fine again until I allowed the car to connect to an external WiFi network again, so I can repeat the bug consistently.

Outcome is I’ll just keep the WiFi switched off!

So far no issues encountered in fact easy access was enabled and was so pleased.

Small hiccup after the firmware updated (06XM), they noticed a steering wheel warning notifications pop up and then disappeared after a test drive.

They did 2 test drive while the car was there for 4 weeks and the only warning pop up was the steering wheel notification and then disappeared.

I’m due to enable the Digital card today and see how it goes. But I don’t think I will use it.
Is there anyone enable the digital card and encounter problem?

hey guys

after lots of troubles ( I got SQ6), service at dealer's place replaced the communication unit , then they updated to 06CXL (03.01.00.C) , it was done 2 weeks ago and so far so good, even the app is finally working pretty good.
the only thing I still cannot establish is digital key, and the plug and charge certificate renewal cannot be done still , but I will try to work it out. The rest is OK.
Seems like that replaced unit made and possible still makes issues in all the cars that have it faulty.

The card isn't what you think - it must be activated on a per-use basis and gets deactivated the next time the car is started using the fob or phone (digital key).

Hey @LIM as @holmes4 says the card isn’t worth the hassle and it’s does indeed need to be reactivated after every use.
You have the option of digital key or the regular key for everyday use.

I use mine occasionally. It's difficult to shake the habit of grabbing the keys when you're heading out.
I've not experienced any issues while using mine. I do have to put the phone in the charge cradle in order to start the car though.

I use the digital key frequently. Just keep my phone in my pocket and drive.

My SQ6 was updated to 06XM on Wednesday. So far the car is much better - spotted a few minor niggles like the steering wheel not always returning to my driving position when getting in, but quite happy in general.

The myAudi app is still telling me that I need to book in for the 06XM campaign - how long does it take for the message to clear?
