Same here. Had to wait 24 hours to get the activation code email, but no issues since. I can open/unlock and start the Q6 with just my iPhone in my pocket, just like the key fob. No need to tap it on the door or place it in the charging cradle.

So, I’ve had the update before taking delivery, and on first impressions no major issues. However I’m now starting to notice some settings not being retained, despite having key user set up correctly.

Issues I’ve noticed so far:

- Internal light settings not retained. If I select one of the preset combinations, next time I get in the car it’ll have defaulted back to the one it started with.

- Seat positioning - sometimes on entry to the car, the seat doesn’t go back to its stored ‘Set 1’ position so I have to hold down the button to get back to where I should be after the seat has moved back exiting the vehicle.

- Generally the app is working ok, but the fundamental item of being able to sync the current range and battery status, doesn’t work 99% of the time. It did once I think, but now it suggests is 99% full regardless what the car says and/or any ‘successful update’ when synced with the car.

None of these issues are show stoppers at all, but they also do not disappear with an MMI reset which can be frustrating.

Will try resetting again later, and give it a little time, then mention to the dealer if they don’t iron out over the next few weeks.

Overall though, I am loving the drive of the car. It’s a great cabin to be in and the drive itself is responsive and smooth.

It sounds like you purchased the CARIAD edition. Agree the car is a nice ride but the software is key but it’s unpredictable

I have had this with the comfort access. Mine seems to happen when I get in the car and comfort access has not worked and then suddenly it starts going backwards once I am sat down but does not then reset in the position.

My big issue with this fault is recently I was in a massive rush jumped in the car and started reversing and it happened and I was then further from the brake peddle than I liked when I needed to brake hard having just spotted a cyclist in my blind spot.
