This is what I’ll do although I’ll find someone that can do the powder coating and machine the outer lip like on the RS version of these wheels. Do you mind me asking how much you paid for the work including unmounting and remounting the tires? Feel free to PM me if you like.

Please detail the procedure to remove the decals off these wheels. The lines look terrible, I always thought the wheels were machined but if they are indeed stickers thats great news. Did you do it or have it done? Only a fingernail to get in and just pull off or do you need a liquid solution?

De-stickering and a gloss cf wrap on the blades to match the other cf trim wins the "Mod of the year award!". Great work.

Has someone sourced the correct film to match the CF yet? Avery, 3m, or other brand as to the closest weave and shine to Oem? Please post your findings to save us all time.

Saving oem!

This is the final touch to finish off the wheel correctly... View attachment 3820 View attachment 3822
Looks great! Where did you get those RS wheel caps?

I was at my Audi/Porsche dealer on Saturday so my girlfriend could get a chance to drive her first EV and they had a pretty loaded Taycan 4S (with Mission E wheels painted in body color white) that they gave us the keys to. She had a blast (now she is bugging me when will the GT get here), but she wants those wheels painted in body color. It looks like I will use the Mission E's for summer and get some all seasons for the wheels the car come with for cold weather. Audi should offer better wheel choices.

Can someone with a car in hand please measure to confirm the mm width of the correct sticker along with whether the oem cap is flat or domed so we can know which to order?

One more might be cool for the steering wheel too...

I finally pick mine up tomorrow, but the dealer sent me a picture with the customized concept 21" RS wheels installed!

I think it looks really good, definately less fussy than the standard colour combination.

Did you have the fins powder coated or wrapped carbon fibre in the end? I have the other UK RS wheels and part of the PPF project this week is whether to also wrap the titanium coloured inserts a gloss carbon fibre against Floret Silver. I think the titanium again Floret ties in well, just a little nervous that gloss carbon fibre wrap won't work as well against the silver.

No I had them wrapped, I would leave your wheels as they are as I think you're right they will work well with the floret silver of the car.

Can the silver decals on the wheel just be peeled off?
It looks better all black
I don't know the place I bought it from removed them but I think so. You could heat and see if they come off.

I did email them.to understand the process but it was lost in translation as I ordered from Germany.

If not it will have to be a respray but that's not too much of an issue of going all black. I think you'd have to stay gloss as the plastic fins are black gloss and silver.

They do look fantastic all black. I'm gonna have the calipers painted in fluo green to add a bit of contrast too.

Thanks to @Ps702, @Bakus and many others on this forum for their help. Got my wheels powdercoated (semi-gloss 50/50) and just completed the tint. Very happy with the results!

The wheels looks beautiful and it looks like you’re not too far away— I’m in Woodland Hills. If you’re still happy with the work, would it be possible to get the shop’s info? Would love to get some powder coating done. :)
