In my Q6 etron, I cannot find where to disable / enable privacy.

All I see under Settings / Privacy settings is:

- Mobile data - always reverts back to disabled on car ignition start

- Location data for vehicle related online services - always reverts back to disabled on car ignition start

• remote access - same as above
• 3 further data collection toggles - all of which as above get reverted back to disabled on engine ignition start.

I think the issue is, that my user profile while gets added. It can not be loaded due to a technical error.

Q6 is a different platform than Q4. Delayed for years while they tried to develop new software for it, as I recall. So probably just as FUBAR as other Audi software, but likely in different ways!

Go to users > delete key user > you will be prompted that you cannot selete because of privacy setting> click allow. Then go to settings you will see that the privacy setting is deactivated. Yay!!!

Is this in a Q6 etron?
Asking as in my Q6 etron under privacy settings I can only see:

• Mobil data
• location data
• remote access

there are no other privacy settings to be enabled / disabled

The audi specialist that helped me with the settings told me the only way to turn the privacy off is to do a reset on the MMI. But you will need to go through the configuration wizard again. But then when it ask you that question about privacy settings during the wizard have to remember to leave it off.

In regards to the app not reading while in different profiles, that is also true as it will only syn with the user who was initially setup with the key. And since Audi only provides 1 key card which means the app will only link to one user. It is seriously a stupid design. I deleted my wife offline profile so we would be able to share the same app and see the settings through the app. Luckily our key fobs are programmed so it changes our seat memory base on the fob and not the user profile.

This only this solved my issue. Thank you!!!!!

Go to setting -> system maintenance -> restore factory settings -> allow. It will say that the key user can’t be removed or something. So please wait 10-30 seconds until that message is changing. Then X to close the message and privacy settings is now off.
